MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY!

I know, I know there are human rights violations happening in China in Tibet and Xingxiang region, and I do believe they are not in a good position when it comes to ensuring people have a voice. And we will go into that conversation some other time.

Today let’s talk about why Hong Kongers are not facing the hate crimes that other ex-pats, refugees, and migrants are facing fuelled by populists in the parliament.

Hong Kong’s economy is slightly larger than Israel’s or Ireland's its GDP per capita at purchasing power parity was the sixth highest globally(Source: Wikipedia)

Hongkong used to host the largest number of billionaires not too long ago too. It has more billionaires than London.

Hong Kongers are usually left outside of sanctions from the west when they want to punish China for I don’t know whatever reasons. This has led to an explosion of economic activities which made it one of the richest places on the planet.

The London housing market is at its prime right now, all the rich people from Hong Kong are buying off the property as they come and settle here. This is to escape the Chinese army tightening its grip on Hong Kong as its annexation nears completion.

Hong Kong was always part of China, its special status was just a way of demeaning the East and another stupid ploy of the UK to divide and rule.

When I was coming to London I met many Hong-kongers who are now settling in the UK. I talked to a couple of them and they are afraid of what China will do when the annexation is complete.

UK is taking advantage of it. Not only Hongkong has one of the most robust economies with one of the highest incomes per capita in the world, but also Hong Kong is home to innovators and scientists.

UK will benefit hugely from the incoming stream of refugees and asylum seekers. But imagine if it wasn't Hong Kong, imagine if it was a poor country. I am sure with the rhetoric going on about “migrants” and their vilification in this country, UK wouldn't have batted an eye-let alone start a special visa scheme.

Just makes you think, all these racial slurs going about, the attacks happening on migrants these are all because they are poor, not because they have a different skin colour.

Its green not white that counts

White people are also suffering from increased costs everywhere.

Its a good way to keep the poor fighting the poor.

“You are poor because these immigrants are stealing your job”

Says the rich. As the rich become richer and the poor poorer. And the disparity keeps growing. Its a way for the elites to hold on to power.
