THE GREEN MESSIAH
All the criticisms against the left often revolve around the same points: they’re divided, constantly fighting among themselves. But the real issue is that they lack authenticity; they don’t inspire the imagination. Look at the far right — what do they offer? They’ll stop immigration, build a wall, make guns freely available. People are becoming almost religious in their search for a messiah — a leader to believe in. This messiah could come from a future of green hope or from one that leads to destruction. The plan for self-destruction is clear. But where is the plan for an inspiring future that believes in human potential? Where is the vision that moves us forward?
