That's How The Light Gets In
Maybe the system is broken. I am talking about the world system. We have an enormous economic crisis, we have a populist uprising in most parts of the world, and we are on the brink of economic collapse. Maybe the system we have built around the expansion of an exploitative system isn't working.
What does it mean?
It might mean many things, war and calamities. As pandora’s box opens and we face death, disease and disaster, we hang by the ever-present hope. But hope is a verb, and we must contribute to making hope more accessible for those who are feeling hopeless. And that is what I plan to do with this writing. It's to give you a little hope.
Certainly, this is a world we were never prepared for. But certainly, this gives us a chance, or should I say push to reinvent ourselves. Just take yourself away from the fear and, just for an instant, imagine a world without a superpower, a world runs not by power but by negotiations by mutual respect. We are being pushed towards mutual respect and collaboration. On all fronts, as the polarization of this world increases, we feel more connected than ever; as we feel the pressure of a pandemic, or more pandemics to come, and natural calamities, we are being pushed towards collaboration.
