Passion and Profession

Should there be a difference between passion and profession?

Some people say your passion should not be your profession because, you are passionate about doing something you love and if you make your love your work, work will ruin your love for it.

Others say if you make your passion your profession, you’ll not have to work a day of your life.

I propose a middle way, be married to your love, it won't be perfect and passionate but it'll make it something new and something better.

What I mean by saying the above statement is that you have to try to make your passion your profession and although you may fail to keep it pure, you'll find that the feedback/guidance and healthy competition that you face in your workplace will give it purpose.

So I tell you this, stick to a purpose, love comes and goes, work for your purpose, work it in a professional setting or not keep working at it. I can assure you in both cases you will thank me later for it.
