Listening to yourself in the time of noise

Noise is everywhere,, if you have ever lived in or with a South Asian family, we love to make noise even when we are not making it for a purpose. But despite the racial overtone to my comment, there are noises that are always there. In that much noise, it is essential to hear the voice in your head.

This voice in your head is your narrative; the narrator is your mind commenting and elaborating on ideas, thoughts memories. But we have to make sure we hear this voice over everything else.

I mean, after all, isn’t the voice of your very own consolidation of all your experiences, emotions, thoughts and beliefs? What if you can not hear that? I guess this happens to some of us. We can’t focus on this voice, and we become a slave to the situation.
It is imperative to actively listen to this voice because, without it, we are just in a crowd with a hive mind.

I found a way to make the voice louder. And I have been practising that a lot these days. READ a lot! Reading is one way we exercise this voice, and although you may hear different voices, writers often have their own voice, which we hear from their writing; ithelps cultivate and make you a listener. Listening to yourself is so out of fashion these days, but it is the only way we can listen to the heartbeat of theuniversee.

Trying really hard to have one epiphany at a time in this dystopia.
