It hurts so much

It's not that people don't care about climate change, it's the fact that caring hurts too much. And we don’t want to be hurt. We are humans, it hurts when we realise the world is approaching a catastrophe. Something that will destroy everything we hold dear and love.
It hurts, it really does.

After a few days of working as a fundraiser for Greenpeace I realised, people are hurt, they are scared because the pain is surreal. If we get a cut our minds go there because we don't want to be hurt. We forget everything else, we are in pain. But take a breath and really regard my question.

What hurts more, is a cut or complete Annihilation?

We are heading towards that, and that's why we are afraid. I will tell you about a PR miracle. Hurt them good! And they will stop caring. — that’s what the Oil Companies are telling us, isn't it? When they are using terms like Carbon Footprint! How dare they? Your footprint is sacred they can't just point and say that your footprint is soiled. I bow to you Namaste, Assalamualaikum. It's the oil and gas companies who should hide their footprint. I know they are hurting you so you say there is no more hope. Death has killed all hope.

If they want to get hurt, really hurt them and they won't be able to look at it. That's what Don’t Look Up was about, don't you see a comet coming?

And that's why you are afraid, I am afraid, we tend to not see fear, when we are fearful we look away because it hurts so bad.

Trying really hard to have one epiphany at a time in this dystopia.
