I am tired of hearing how much you have earned
Listen, although we have income in mind and all of us want to make it as a writer, I want to read more about your experiences, your life, or a story or whatever instead of how much you earned this quarter.
And though I guess some of the articles are interesting as the way data is presented, its really not at all why we read blogs. It defeats the purpose of reading a blog, and if you don't read a blog where will you get the money.
All I am saying is to make these articles go away, people who want to read them will find what's already there to take inspiration but make some space for Medium to become a reader-friendly platform where your insecurities are not the major selling point.
I earned shit in my writing so far, but what's the point of writing about it?
