How can I help?

What is your approach towards fear or challenges? Is it bravery? And though bravery is one of the best ways to tackle those situations. There is something even more powerful than bravery. It is compassion. And instead of asking how can I overcome these challenges or how can I get over my fear of something. I think we can ask how can I help in this situation.

In this life we are meant to find our clan. Whatever we do we are creating a clan. A group of people who would be like you. We end up finding the people who are pursuing the same truth. Yet truth has so many forms and we all search for the truth in the forms we seem it fit. So for some truth can be hunger. After a hard work’s day of toil earning just enough to eat a laborer finds his truth in satisfying his hunger. For some it can be knowledge a student who seeks knowledge finds the truths together. For those who seek fame they find their truth in becoming famous.

And that’s why birds of the same feather flocks together. Don’t get me wrong here. It is not necessary for all of us to seek the same things. But it is important for us to find our flocks- those who seek the same things I seek. And by walking the same path we find our clan.

By becoming a flock that seeks friendship, love, power. We find the people who seek friends, partners and comrades.

Now I want to come back to my first point about compassion. Those who are compassionate will seek the same thing- compassion. And to find compassion we must seek what a compassionate person would seek.

If you are compassionate you would seek to help. So in order to join that clan we must seek the thing the compassionate people seek they seek a way to help others. And if you become compassionate you will seek those that seek compassion as well. How can I help my mother, my colleague, my boss, my teacher, my fellow students. How can I help those who are different than me.

I want to part of that gang. The best gang there is, the people who seek compassion and peace for others. And I want to see who else I find along my way.

So tell me now: how can I help you?
