No, it's not the war, it's climate change. This war can give us a way out of our energy reliance and we can combat it by doubling, tripling down on renewables.

We have roughly 6 years left to make sure we stay ahead of the curve of climate change. SIX years before irreversible change happens to this planet. Six years before doomsday.

The level of commitment we need from world leaders to combat climate change is going to be that of what we need in wartime.

In wartime, we are allowed to think big, it's “do or die”. If we can take this Ukraine-Russia crisis as a do or die situation, we can use that to shift our focus and do something radical. And we NEED something radical. We need to have all cars made electric, we need to suck out carbon from the atmosphere, we need to rethink our consumption.

We need radical solutions, we need to rebuild infrastructures, we need to fund our public services to turn them green. We need innovation to guide the world forward.

These are desperate times, we need whatever excuses we can get to create consensus in the world we have to take it.

The world leaders have a chance to kill two birds with one stone, we must, I repeat we MUST take this opportunity to go green. Or there won't be a world to fight over anymore.

Trying really hard to have one epiphany at a time in this dystopia.
