Dazed in Dystopia
In this dystopia, it’s hard to focus on just one thing
My thoughts are like butterflies, flitting on the wing
But I try to catch them, and hold on tight
To just one epiphany, and let it ignite
For in this world, it’s easy to get lost
To have too many revelations, at any cost
So I try to take it slow, and focus on just one
And let it guide me, before another one has come
For in this dystopia, it’s hard to see the light
But I know it’s there, just out of sight
And with each epiphany, I take a step closer
To understanding this world, and finding peace and composure
So I’ll keep trying, and hold on tight
To each moment of clarity, and let it ignite
The path forward, and guide my way
In this dystopia, each and every day.
