A bit flowery innit

The story of flowers in spring in London starts in early March and end of February. The whole city kind of embraces this oddly satisfying look, which ushers in hay fever hospitalizations. People’s moods lift up too; they feel a little more motivated to fight on after months of gloom, finally a little glitter.

I have never seen such protests as I have seen in London in recent times. It’s as if people are taking back their power; they are fighting for Palestine, for peace, for a greener economy.

We are getting there, and for the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful. This comes as half of the world’s population will see an election. Of course, Modi might fire a few rockets at Pakistan to make the election a bit spicier. India’s rebirth seems to be a violent prank like always, but it is being reborn not for Modi, but for the young people who have had enough.

I pray for the minority Muslims. They deserve less hate. Making up to 15 percent of a country’s population, they are one of the biggest Muslim populations in the world. Shahrukh Khan, Amir Khan, Salman Khan, they all brought Bollywood to the world, and now they must hide behind hateful narratives, hoping they can outlast the politics because oh, what if they started to fight back?

Power and wealth are being consolidated like never before, and thousands of young people feel more…

Trying really hard to have one epiphany at a time in this dystopia.
